  • April 2010: “Parade Day” The Bohemian 2009-2010. Short story published in NDNU’s literary magazine.
  • May 2002: The School of Hard Knocks:  Hip Hop and the Practice of Culture Studies. Masters Thesis for the Degree in Gender/Cultural Studies at Simmons College.   
  • December 1999: Maldita Suerte:  Seven Days of Deep Fried Luck. Four multi-media pieces in group art exhibition (Las Otras) for San Francisco’s Mission Badlands/Balazo Gallery.
  • June 1999: What We Say Matters:  Everett Middle School Race Relations Council. Short video documentary produced with Middle School Students about race relations and violence in San Francisco Schools.
  • July 1999: Millennium Girls. Short Documentary produced with girl’s group out of the Turk Street Housing Project in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco.
  • December 1998: Dancing Our Way to Power:  Creative Expression and Identity Development at Dida Escola de Musica, Salvador, Bahia, Brasil and Lessons for the U.S. Community Studies Undergraduate Thesis with photo accompaniment.
  • April 1998: Barbie’s Invisible Sisters. Single act play written and directed for The Women’s Ensemble Theatre at UCSC
