Sonja Koppensteiner, PhD, PMP, has held multiple project management positions in the high tech industry, in Europe and in the Silicon Valley delivering products to multiple markets such as power utility market, ATE, Telecommunications, and EDA. She founded InterGlobe Consulting, a business consulting company located in the heart of Silicon Valley in 2003. Since then she has served several businesses and universities in the area as a consultant, trainer and instructor.


Sonja’s experience spans from software project management to overall project management responsibility of highly complex and cross-functional solutions in the high-tech industry. As a project management consultant and change agent she has helped organizations to implement and improve project management processes and practices. Her knowledge covers the full product lifecycle from initiation to end of life. Sonja’s favorite tool (her creation) is the project process map that ties product life cycle, project life cycle and organizational processes together.


Sonja enjoys working with cross-functional and virtual teams. She is known as result oriented team leader who creates focus for cross-functional teams in order to execute and deliver on time.
