Taube Conference Center

Taube Conference Center

Taube Conference Center was built in 1930 and was originally used as the local parish church until 1958. From 1958 to 1986, the building housed the University Art Department. It was renovated in 1995 and is now used by the University and community for special events and conferences.

Taube Conference Center is a versatile, single-room meeting facility, which can accommodate 150 people auditorium style or approximately 100 classroom style. It has excellent lighting, a vaulted wood-beamed ceiling and tall windows which create an open, airy atmosphere. Shades can be drawn to darken the room for presentations. The Center is carpeted except for a slightly raised hardwood stage at one end, which is generally used for speakers and audiovisual equipment. The facility has 33 parking spaces with additional parking along the road.
