Catholic Identity Statement
The NDNU Board of Trustees approved a Catholic Identity Statement in May 2012 to express how NDNU’s Catholic heritage informs and directs the mission of the university. This is a living document, expressing the university’s mission and identity in the light of today’s world and conditions, and like the university itself, will undoubtedly evolve and adapt as conditions change. The Notre Dame de Namur Learning Community Hallmarks describe the essential characteristics, values, and activities of a Notre Dame learning community, and form the basis of the values of the university.
These seven Hallmarks are living statements of faithfulness to the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
