OIT Media Services (AV) Equipment Request Guidelines
You can make requests online by clicking AV Request Form link on the left.
Please make your requests with 72 hours notice. Orders for weekends and Monday deliveries must be received by the preceding Wednesday at noon. Late and walk-in requests will be honored during regular business hours, if possible.
If students need to make a request for class they must do it through their instructor or a staff member.
The requestor is responsible for all equipment checked out.
Delivery of AV Equipment
Due to the complications of handling multiple requests at the same time with limited staff availability, and because in some cases a room may be in use up until ten minutes before the next class begins, there may be cases when we are unable have your equipment delivered before the start of your class. In these circumstances we’ll try to let you know in advance, however there may be cases when there are unforseen delays. If your equipment isn’t there when you expected it, please call the AV pager at 650-306-6926.
Saturday deliveries are possible only if staff is available. If you need to make a weekend request, try to get it to us as far in advance as possible. Wednesday at noon is the deadline.
Equipment Failure
Please notify AV at 508-3743 if something is broken or a bulb is burned out. Occasionally, installed equipment is moved out of the room it belongs in. Please let us know if a classroom is missing equipment.
