Using the Library Catalog

Search by Author

You can search the online Library Catalog by author, title, subject, keyword, and call number. An author search may be for a specific person or a group such as organizations, conferences, meetings or symposia. Authors also include editors, translators, composers, and performers.

From the Search Main Menu, select Author. Enter your search term and click on the Search button. When entering an author's full name as a search term, enter the last name first. Be sure to separate the last and first names with a comma and a space.

You may also just type the last name and browse the alphabetical list. Examples:

• Austen, Jane
• Beethoven
• Conference on Reading
