Social Science

The Psychology/Sociology Department offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science with emphasis in Interdisciplinary Studies.  The Interdisciplinary Studies Emphasis is intended for students who seek a broad introduction to the social sciences, perhaps in preparation for a career in law, and stresses interdisciplinary breadth in History, Economics, Sociology, or Political Science.

Major Requirements Units
Upper-division courses in History, Political Science, Sociology, or Economics:
At least 12 of the 24 upper-division units must fall within one of the four areas of History, Political Science, Sociology, or Economics. At least three upper-division units must be taken in each of the other three areas (total nine units). The final three upper-division units of the required 24 may be taken in any of these four areas or in upper-division Psychology.
