Current Research and Past Projects

  • 2009 - present Collaborating with the Recreational Department at the VA hospital in Menlo Park, CA and PTSD Veterans using the Instinctual Trauma Response.
  • 2001 - 2004 Assessing art development of normal school children, South San Francisco and Palo Alto School Districts, Susan Barnes/Jill Waterfield.
  • 2001 - Present Detecting Masculine and Feminine Differences using the Arrington Visual Preference Test.
  • 1995 Seeing the Whole Picture – Co-Sponsored with Center for Domestic Violence Prevention a San Mateo countywide workshop for Professionals on Violence Prevention. Guest speakers included the FBI agent in charge of the Polly Klass case, County Sheriff, local police, probation officers, lawyers, counselors, and victims.
  • 1995 Art Therapy in the Public Schools - Co-sponsored with San Mateo County School District - A workshop open to all elementary teachers in the San Mateo County School District.
  • 1990 Collaboration - Elena Novikova, MA, Russian Psychologists -Multi-Cultural differences between American and Russian family life and interventions. Revising and researching the Arrington Visual preference Test. A Jungian based test of identity and transformation with both Western and Eastern Cultures. Twelve co researchers. Women’s Advisory Council to San Mateo County University Women, National Organization of Women, Christian bible Fellowship Group leaders, Sequoia Cooperative Parent Nursery, Women’s Political Caucus, Volunteers of San Mateo. Dissertation presentation and data collection for the Arrington Visual Preference Test.
