Lawrence LujanSenior Lecturer, History

Lawrence Lujan received his doctorate in English from the University of California, Berkeley; he has taught at NDNU since 1993. He served as director and academic adviser for the Liberal Studies Day program and was on the Educational Effectiveness Task Force for Written Communication, the Education Committee, and the General Education Subcommittee, as well as the search committees for a full-time librarian and for a new program director in communication. He has been a regular contributor to The Bohemian, as well as having his poetry published in Modern Haiku and the Journal of Italian Translation. He has served as a mentor for new faculty and led six school tours to Italy.
