University Accreditation
Notre Dame de Namur University is a fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Inclusive in university accreditation process were the School of Business & Management's degree programs in Undergraduate Business Administration, Undergraduate Communications, Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, and Master of Science in Management.
School of Business & Management Accreditation
NDNU has recently been advanced to Candidate for accreditation by Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for its undergraduate and graduate program in the School of Business & Management. SBM has decided to embark on accreditation with ACBSP because they are a specialized accreditor of business programs with a focus towards best practices, teaching excellence, and an unwavering requirement of continuous improvement in the discipline of business education. NDNU is honored to be affiliated with this agency and more announcements will be forthcoming as we proceed along this path.
Associations
National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration
In early 2008, NDNU has become of member of National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) and are actively seeking to align our graduate Master Public Administration (MPA) program with that of NASPAA's criteria in order to ensure we offer excellence in education and training for public service and to promote the ideal of public service.
Omicron Delta Kappa
Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honorary society founded to recognize those who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities and to inspire others to strive for conspicuous attainments along similar lines. Members are chosen on the basis of their involvement and leadership based on the five indispensable qualifications for membership and the five major phases of campus life. The five qualifications include exemplary character, responsible leadership, and service in campus life, superior scholarship, genuine fellowship and consecration of democratic ideals. The five areas of campus life are scholarship; athletics; social; service, religion, and campus government; journalism, speech, and the mass media; and the creative and performing arts.
Sigma Beta Delta
Sigma Beta Delta is a national honorary society founded to recognize scholarship and achievement among students of business, management and administration, and to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind. NDNU has had an active Sigma Beta Delta chapter since 1996. Because the Society is recognizes only those undergraduate and graduate studing achieving scholastic excellence in business, employers throughout the country view students association with this society in high regard.
