Joanne Rossi The School of Education and Leadership at Notre Dame de Namur University has earned a reputation for excellence in teacher education. Many of the teachers, specialists and administrators currently working in the Bay Area are the product of a Notre Dame de Namur education. At the core of our credential program is personalized attention and individualized counseling, field orientation of programs, and successful placement of graduates. All credential programs were reaccredited in 2010. Our master's students receive personalized instruction and mentoring, ensuring that the program supports you in your efforts to accomplish your personal and professional goals. The Liberal Studies program remains one of the largest undergraduate majors on campus, and provides a strong foundation for those with the ultimate goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
