Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies (Evening)

The Accelerated Evening Liberal Studies degree within the Professional Studies Program allows working adult students to advance in their current profession, or prepares them specifically for careers in elementary education. Accelerated Liberal Studies is a comprehensive major that draws from many academic disciplines, providing students with a broad compass of knowledge and important writing, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Students in classroomThe Accelerated Liberal Studies program fulfills all the prerequisites for NDNU’s Graduate Credential Program, and prepares students for entry into graduate programs leading to the Californai Multiple Subject (K-8) teaching credential. The program also covers material relevant to the CBEST and CSET exams. Working students have the option to complete a Bachelor of Arts in the evening while simultaenously satisfying prerequisites for NDNU's Graduate Education Program.

Students wishing to obtain a broad liberal arts background can work with Liberal Studies advisors to tailor a program to the needs and goals of the student, who may not necessarily wish to pursue a teaching credential.
