NDNU is located in Belmont, California, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area. It is 25 miles south of San Francisco and 25 miles north of the San Jose Silicon Valley. Most students come from the local area, and those who come from other states and countries can expect to find the San Francisco Bay Area a center of cultural, recreational and athletic activity. The campus is in a suburban area and covers 80 acres of forested hillside. NDNU's buildings reflect a variety of architectural styles interspersed with green lawns and trees. The campus offers a magnificent, restful setting for graduate study.
