Financial Aid Links

Please do not pay for outside scholarship information, as free resources are plentiful. There are many private and public organizations with an interest in helping individuals pay for college.

Below are a few research resources. Please note that NDNU does not remove institutional grants for students with outside scholarships, unless federal need is exceeded (and this is rare).

FAFSA and General Financial Aid Resources:

  • FAFSA
    - Apply for federal student aid online.
  • FAFSA4caster
    - FAFSA4caster will help you get an early start on the financial aid process by providing you with an early estimate of your eligibility for federal student aid.

Student Loan Resources: .

  • NSLDS (National Student Loan Data System)
    - Get information about your student loans.

Scholarship, Grant, and Other Resources:

Financial Aid Documents:

  • Consortium Agreement
    - Students enrolled at NDNU and another institution at the same time may be eligible for financial aid by completing a consortium agreement.
  • 2010-2011 Verification Worksheet - Dependent
    - If you have been selected for verification you must complete a verification worksheet. If you have any questions about which worksheet to complete, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
  • 2010-2011 Verification Worksheet - Independent
    - If you have been selected for verification you must complete a verification worksheet. If you have any questions about which worksheet to complete, please contact the Financial Aid Office.

Financial Aid Disclosures:

The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 calls for disclosures regarding FFELP terms and conditions, a preferred lender list, and policies regarding lenders and guarantors. However, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 requires colleges and universities to use the William D. ford Federal Direct Loan Program, in which students borrow funds directly from the federal government, as of July 1, 2010. This eliminates the need for the above disclosures and therefore they will not be provided.
