Transfer Students

Transfers make up almost 50 percent of each year's entering class and are as important to us as freshmen applicants. We are looking for students like you seeking an academic setting in which to thrive.

We're ready when you are. Apply for the very next semester whether you are a freshman, a junior, or in between. NDNU is generous in transferring previous college credits and you don't have to have completed all of your general education requirements before applying. If you have fewer than 30 transferable semester units, you must fulfill freshman admission requirements.

What you need

  1. Apply Online.
  2. Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  3. A letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor.
  4. An essay (instructions appear in the application).

NDNU accepts transfer students at all levels, and you may enter in either the fall or spring semesters. For more information please consult the online catalog.

For details on which courses from Bay Area community colleges will transfer with credit and Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) policy, see our Transfer Agreements page.

Deadlines

NDNU is a rolling admission institution; however, please keep the following priority deadlines in mind:
