Master of Musical Performance

Vincent KangWhat brought you to NDNU?

I was referred to NDNU by a friend, and I was really impressed with the school—it’s a smaller school, which makes it easier to get more personalized attention and advising.

What is your favorite thing about NDNU?

For international students, there are a lot of opportunities at NDNU because it is a smaller school and can be more comfortable and accommodating than bigger schools. At NDNU, you’re able to work with the advisors and faculty more closely.

What course are you most excited about at NDNU?

I’m really excited about the graduate project for musical performance, which gives you a new avenue to create and come up with your own show/performance project. It’s also a great opportunity to collaborate with other artists to come up with an original work.

What is your favorite thing about the San Francisco Bay Area?

The weather! I’ve travelled to a lot of destinations, but the San Francisco Bay Area is particularly beautiful.

What are you hoping to do after NDNU?

Eventually, I’d like to pursue a doctorate degree in Music.
