Associate Director of Admissions
I was born in San Francisco and have lived in Belmont for nearly thirty years. I came to NDNU about eleven years ago. I was a customer service supervisor in the Biotech industry and wanted to finish my bachelor’s degree, so when I saw a position open at NDNU I got excited and eagerly interviewed for an administrative position in graduate admissions. The fact that the university is less than two miles from my home was a bonus. I felt like I was meant to be here—and I still do. Now I’m the associate director of admissions, managing our undergraduate and graduate data processes as well as bringing technological support to our enrollment team. After I settled in, I began my journey to complete my English degree and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The instructors are insightful and have taught me so very much. They deepened my love for literature, particularly as it relates to history, and my love for writing. The class sizes are small, which makes for an intimate and enriching personal experience. My other great love is music. During the 70’s and 80’s, I was the lead singer in several local bands, performing in the larger Bay Area.
