I came to NDNU after many years at an east coast Catholic university where I worked as an Associate Dean overseeing admissions, student advising, and academic affairs. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are in English literature, so I've always had a deep appreciation for literature, culture, and film. When my family relocated to the Bay area, I was hoping to find a new home at an institution with a strong sense of mission, a commitment to social justice, and a vibrant, close-knit community. I found all of these things at NDNU! It is refreshing to see a community that really cares about its students. My job at NDNU is to oversee the outreach efforts and admission process for all programs: undergraduate, transfer, evening/professional, and graduate.
