|I was born in San Francisco and raised in Foster City. I moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Film Critical Studies and Master of Fine Arts in Film-Television Production. The classes I attended were small and allowed one on one student training with Professors, similar to NDNU.
After completing my degrees, I moved back home to Foster City, where I could be closer to my family and friends. I have a passion for studying films as well as directing them. Films allow others to see life in different, new perspectives. Some of my favorite film directors are Alfred Hitchcock, Akira Kurosawa, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Stanley Kubrick, John Woo and Chris Nolan. Each filmmaker offers a fresh perspective in their films which is unique to their background. I enjoy working in the Bay Area, where the population is so diverse. The diversity of studies at NDNU offers the opportunity to meet others with a variety of talents and interests.
When I am not watching movies or sampling new sushi, I spend my time in Kung Fu training. My studies in Kung Fu since I was a young boy have trained me to develop a strong work ethic and moral code. Kung Fu is a training of the body as well as the mind. Having learned to focus on accomplishing the tasks set before me has helped me in every area of my life. To be given the task of handling NDNU’s inquiry database is both an honor and a privilege.
