I came to Notre Dame de Namur University as a student last year. I've always wanted to finish my degree but found it difficult to commit to school since I was working full-time and worried about taking on education expenses. I've lived on the peninsula for only a few years so I asked friends and neighbors about schools in the area. I was happy to learn there was a school with an excellent reputation and it's right in my backyard! The attentive teachers and small class sizes helped to make the transition back into schoolwork easier than I thought it would be. The director of the professional studies program guided me through the application and financial aid process. I was so pleased with the one-on-one help I received from her and the financial aid staff! I'm now happy to report that I work alongside these wonderful people.
