Alumni Director Letter

Elizabeth ValenteHappy New Year from the Office of Alumni Relations!

As we look back on the past year, we do so with great amazement and pride. Now with 2014 in full swing, we as Argos are looking forward with a sense of awe and excitement about the possibilities that lie in front of us. The Office of Alumni Relations stands committed to the idea that connecting Argos with each other, and with our alma mater, is good for the long-term health and vitality of Notre Dame de Namur University.

This year the Office of Alumni Relations will:

  • Reestablish the Alumni Association Council with new and returning members
  • Expand events in which we engage alumni, provide more opportunities for personal connections and lifelong learning
  • Increase our communication efforts to alumni
  • Increase our opportunities to connect with our alumni and university students
  • Build upon our volunteer network
  • Help our alumni understand, and participate in, the academic life of the NDNU

As we enter into our second month of 2014, check out our 'Upcoming Events' page and mark your calendars for some fun and educational gatherings like Founders' Week, the Shakespeare Festival, and Homecoming Weekend!

Stay connected, socially! "Like" us on our official Notre Dame de Namur University/CND Alumni Association Facebook page and join our Alumni LinkedIn page, to stay engaged and connected with other alums, business tips, and hear the latest about the University.

Send us a Class Note if you had a job change, promotion, marriage, births and if you've published. Have an interesting story to tell? Submit a Class Note online.

We hope that you will stay connected and involved with this ever-growing institution. Our staff is here to help you in any way! If you have questions or need more information about any alumni happenings, have suggestions or new ideas, interested in forming a new alumni chapter, please feel free to contact me directly.

Embracing 2014, I look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon!
