The Office of Alumni & Parent Relations helps alumni stay connected with each other and assists in fostering lifelong relationships with the University. As members you have access to the NDNU Alumni NetCommunity – an online service that makes it easy for you to update your contact information, register for upcoming NDNU events, and look up friends in the alumni directory.

Parents of current students are honorary Argonauts and we also welcome you to all NDNU events and volunteer opportunities, and to check out our latest NDNU Today magazine.

Elizabeth Valente
Director of Alumni and Parent Relations

Elizabeth joined NDNU as alumni director in September 2013. She has extensive experience in communications management in both higher education and in the private sector. Prior to joining NDNU she worked as the communications director at Samuel Merritt University, a health sciences institution. Valente also worked as a reporter for several local news outlets including CNN, CBS, and FOX and garnered several awards including an Emmy in broadcast news. Since joining the university she has developed relationships with alumni, parents, and community leaders, created numerous campus programs such as Homecoming and Alumni Reunion, and built a growing community of volunteerism and advocacy. It is her goal to help our alumni and parent community to stay connected, re-engage, and play a role in the future of NDNU.
