 Sonoma County Wine Tour - October 12-14, 2007

 Our tour guide shows us the techniques used at Barrelli Creek for picking their grapes at the perfect time, while leaving enough on the vines for future growth.  We then enjoyed a picnic basket lunch on the property, courtesy of Gina Gallo '90

An afternoon of shopping in Healdsburg is followed by a private winemaker dinner at Langley's on the Green Restaurant in downtown Windsor.  Winemaker Julie Lynne explains how her wines are paired with the dinner menu.

The Kendall Jackson Wine Center, which we visited on Sunday, offers a sensory tour, including a special tour of the gardens.

Stryker of Sonoma, with its modern architecture and Estate Zinfandels, is the last stop before heading home!
