Carmel Alumni Retreat Weekend

Come and join the Notre Dame de Namur University community at the 15th Annual Carmel Alumni Retreat Weekend January 30 – Feb. 1, 2015. The 2015 Carmel weekend retreat will be held at Villa Angelica, the private residence donated to the Sisters of Notre Dame and located in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea. The event will be facilitated by Sr. Roseanne Murphy, SNDdN. This year’s theme is The Joy of the Gospel by Pope Francis.

The Joy of the Gospel are the teachings of Pope Francis on the proclamation of the Gospel. Pope Francis, the reigning pope of the Catholic Church, is calling upon the Church and the world with encouragement to begin a new chapter in evangelization.

“Together, we will read the book that the Pope wrote to all of us, take time to pray over his ideas, and share our responses with each other,” said Sr. Roseanne Murphy. “The weekend will have a balance of sharing and time for reflection.”

The 2015 Carmel Alumni Retreat Weekend offers the opportunity for Notre Dame de Namur University alumni to gather with others who enjoy sharing their stories – what life has taught them – and hearing what others have found inspiring and encouraging along the way. The NDNU Carmel Retreat is also a great opportunity to reconnect, enjoy the amazing Carmel setting and join in the company of old and new friends, while learning and exploring.

Space is limited. The cost of the retreat is $275 per person, which includes room, meals, Friday’s Carmel-by-the-Sea Mixer, and the NDNU seminar. Your reservation will be confirmed with payment in full. If a cancellation is necessary, a full refund will be given, if cancellations are made by January 7, 2015. Space is limited so please RSVP by Monday, January 12 online or by calling 888-511-NDNU.
