From San Francisco:

  1. Take US-101 S.
  2. Take EXIT 326B toward Monterey Peninsula.
  3. Turn right onto S Sanborn Rd.
    • If you reach US-101 S you've gone about 0.1 miles too far
  4. S Sanborn Rd becomes E Blanco Rd.
  5. Turn left onto S Main St/CA-68. Continue to follow CA-68 W.
    • CA-68 W is 0.1 miles past Pajaro St
    • United States Postal Service is on the corner
    • If you are on W Blanco Rd and reach Padre Dr you've gone about 0.1 miles too far
  6. Merge onto CA-1 S.
  7. You will come to a large intersection (Rio Road) with a shopping center on your left (keep going straight).  The Carmelite Monastery is on the left and just in front of that to your right (when you face the monastery) is Villa Angelica.  You come just before a small bridge (San Jose Creek) and immediately to your left is the driveway to Villa Angelica. There is a sign at the entrance (if you pass the bridge and see a sign for Point Lobos, you have gone too far).

From Los Angeles:

  1. Take I-5 N toward San Francisco/Sacramento.
  2. Take the CA-46/Paso Robles exit, EXIT 278, toward Lost Hills.
  3. Turn left onto CA-46 W.
    • If you reach I-5 N you've gone about 0.3 miles too far
  4. Merge onto US-101 N.
    • If you are on 24th St and reach Black Oak Dr you've gone about 0.1 miles too far
  5. Merge onto Abbott St via the exit on the left toward Spreckels.
  6. Turn left onto E Blanco Rd.
    • E Blanco Rd is 0.2 miles past Merrill St
    • Carl's Jr. / Green Burrito is on the corner
    • If you reach Memory Dr you've gone a little too far
  7. Turn left onto S Main St/CA-68. Continue to follow CA-68 W.
    • CA-68 W is 0.1 miles past Pajaro St
    • United States Postal Service is on the corner
    • If you are on W Blanco Rd and reach Padre Dr you've gone about 0.1 miles too far
  8. Merge onto CA-1 S.
  9.
