Music by Lucy Simon, Book & Lyrics by Marsha Norman
Based on the classic 1911 Novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett
This beautiful musical is based on the enchanting classic of children’s literature. Orphaned in India, young Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her reclusive uncle and his invalid child. The estate’s wonders include a hidden garden that beckons with haunting melodies and “Dreamers,” spirits from Mary’s past, who guide her through her new life. THE SECRET GARDEN is a compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal, told with a rich lyrical score.
