Garcia's three-round total consisted of a 71 and 74 on the first day, followed by a sparkling 70 on Tuesday afternoon. Crawford had rounds of 72, 73 and 70, while Goulding was extreme with a 75, 69 and 71.

In a pre-tournament vote designed to predict the order of finish, Grand Canyon was the favorite followed by Dixie State, Notre Dame de Namur and Hawai‘i Hilo.

With Chaminade’s team 206 strokes behind BYU-hawaii at 800 and in last place, the Seasiders are a virtual lock for the cup.

Host Notre Dame de Namur is tied for fifth with Hawai‘i Pacific after each team posted identical rounds of 304 and 297 for a 601 score. Academy of Art (CA) is seventh at 617 (302-315), while the Silverswords are eighth with a 391 and 409.
