BJ Noble

HEAD COACH

Second Year

Coach Noble took the helm of the NDNU men’s and women’s soccer program before the 2010 season. In his coaching career, Coach Noble has had the opportunity to develop players at the collegiate, high school and club levels for 12 years prior to accepting the position with the Argonauts.

Prior to arriving at NDNU Noble served as the head men’s coach for two years at Millikin University in Decatur, IL and led the Big Blue to a 10-8-2 record in 2008. Before Millikin, Noble held the position of head coach for the U-17 boys and girls Neusport FC teams in Las Vegas. His teams found success at the state, regional, and national level. While earning his master’s degree at California’s University of Redlands, Noble served as the assistant men’s soccer coach from 2004-06.  During his two years at Redlands, the teams went 32-6-5 with Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) championships and NCAA Division III playoff appearances in 2004 and 2005. The 2005 team also held SCIAC opponents scoreless in league play.

Coach Noble’s coaching career began by way of Salt lake City, Utah. Noble had the great fortune to coach at the club, high school and semi-pro level while residing in Utah. Noble held coaching positions with Jordan high School, Northern United, Sparta United, and the Utah Salt Ratz. His tenure in Utah was able to garner league, tournament, state, and regional titles along with a National Championship. He credits much of his success to all of the great coaches, families, management, and players he encountered while in the Salt Lake City.
Noble stays active in youth soccer.  He is on Region IV (Far West) staff in the Olympic Development Program and coaches in the Palo Alto Soccer Club.
When away from soccer, Noble enjoys playing a variety of sports, is an avid sports fan and enjoys hanging out with friends.
He earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Northern State University in 1996. He completed his master's in higher education from University of Redlands in 2006.
