Haley Woods

Head Coach

 

Coach Woods begins her first season as the head coach of Notre Dame de Namur softball program.  She was former All-American softball player at the University of California and comes to NDNU after coaching Castilleja High School last season.  At Castilleja, Woods led the team to a WBAL Championship.  In addition, she coaches for the San Jose Sting, a Northern California 18 Gold fast pitch program.

As a player, Woods made three appearances in the College World Series, including two in the National Championship game.  She was named a 2006 1st Team All-American as a catcher and was twice named All-Pac 10 and All-Pacific Region.  In 2006, Woods was named Diamond Sports Catcher of the Year, inducted into the Cal Hall of Fame and was invited to try-out for the U.S. National Team.
