Jessica Mazeau

Head Coach

Coach Mazeau begins her second season as the NDNU women’s basketball head coach after serving as an assistant for three seasons. Prior to NDNU, Coach Mazeau served as the Interim Head Basketball Coach at Cal State Hayward where she posted an overall record of 21-8 (13-5 in the Cal Pac) leading Hayward to its first ever appearance in the NAIA Division II National Tournament. She led Cal State Hayward to its most successful season in school history, breaking the record for most wins in a season. Prior to the 2002 season she served as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Hayward in 2001 and held
similar responsibilities at San Francisco State University from 1998-2001. Mazeau was a basketball and soccer standout at Dominican College. She earned Conference Player of the Year honors in 1996-97 and was a two-time team captain and Team MVP in both soccer and basketball. For her career, she averaged 19 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. Coach Mazeau received her master’s degree in sports management from the University of San Francisco in 2002 and her bachelor’s degree from Dominican College in 1998. She also holds the positions of Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman’s Administrator at NDNU.
