Coach Grant begins his fifth season at the helm of the NDNU volleyball program and his seventh season as part of the Argonaut coaching staff.  Last season, the Argos enjoyed a very successful season in their first year of Pacific West play.  The Argos finished fifth in the conference and ended the season with three straight PacWest wins.  Marissa Miller, Shauna Folan and Emily Evans all earned All-Conference Honorable Mention status.  Grant had led the Argos to a 67-68 overall record as the NDNU head coach, with the team winning 22 games each in 2003 and 2004.  In 2004, the Argos went 22-11 overall and finished second in the Cal Pac with a 16-2 record. Danielle Dooly was named the Cal Pac Player of the Year while four others were named to the All-Conference teams.  In 2003, Grant led NDNU to a Cal Pac Championship with a 22-11 overall record and a 12-1 conference record.  The Argos also made an appearance in the NAIA Region II Playoffs.  Five players were named to the All-Conference teams and once earned Cal Pac Freshman of the Year. As an assistant, Grant helped coach NDNU to three Cal Pac Championships.

Prior to NDNU, Grant coached at several schools in the Bay Area such as Urban HS, St. Ignatius HS, Menlo High School, City College of San Francisco, and San Francisco State University.  He is currently the club director and head coach for the XL Jr’s volleyball program.
