Biological & Physical Sciences

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford

  • Interns will be placed in these departments: Case Management, Rehab Services, Quality, Social Services, Child Life Services, Nursing Home Pharmacy, Patient Relations, Oncology, News &Communication/Marketing, Outpatient Lab, Family Centered Care, and Community Relations.

San Mateo County Coroners

  • Interns will have the opportunity to work with the Investigations Division in addition to the Pathology Division, for a complete medicolegal death investigation perspective

Genomic Health

  • Research Intern
  • Life science major with at least one year of college level coursework completed
  • Some experience in lab work is desirable


  • Assignments for four or more months occurring throughout the calendar year in research and development

Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships

  • Interns appointed at one of 15 participating DOE laboratories
  • Have an opportunity to perform research, under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the DOE mission


  • Various Summer, Fall, and Spring internships in the medical field

HACU National Internship Program

  • Interns are placed in departments of public affairs, accounting, human resources and information technology, as well as laboratories, hospitals, airports, and national forests and parks

UC-Davis Pre- Medical Surgical Program

  • Exposes participants to the field of surgery by immersing them in a professional medical environment

Homeland Security-Science and Technology

  • Interns will experience a broad spectrum of HS-STEM Disciplines and DHS mission-relevant areas such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological/life sciences, environmental science, emergency and incident management, social sciences, and more
  • 10-week summer internship program
