Earth Justice Communications

  • Interns will assist various teams within the department with communication projects that involve writing, online research, event planning, social media outreach, press tracking, blogging, multimedia producing and the occasional administrative duties
  • Part-time internship that requires a minimum of 15 hours per week


  • Spring, summer, and fall internships
  • Students are provided a chance to experience the working environment of television broadcasting in the fields of sales, news/sports and community affairs.
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher

Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative Internet Services Media and Communication

  • Intern will update networking sites and maintain the website

Bay Area Parent Leadership Action Network (PLAN) Communications

  • For students interested in pursuing a career in non-profits, communications, social media and/or public relations
  • 15 – 20 hours a week during office hours (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) plus some events on weekday evenings or weekends when your schedule allows

Southwest Airlines

  • Summer, Fall, and Spring Internships in Communications

Sierra Nevada Campaign Communications

  • Interns  will work with the campaign staff in the San Francisco Bay area on communications
  • A minimum of ten hours a week is required

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford

  • Interns will be placed in these departments: Case Management, Rehab Services, Quality, Social Services, Child Life Services, Nursing Home, Pharmacy, Patient Relations, Oncology, News &Communication/Marketing, Outpatient Lab, Family Centered Care, and Community Relations

HACU National Internship Program

  • Interns are placed in departments of Public Affairs, Accounting, Human Resources and Information Technology, as well as Laboratories, Hospitals, Airports, and National Forests and Parks
