  • Offers  college students and recent college graduates a unique opportunity to learn about the functions of the U.S. House of Representatives

City and County of San Francisco Department of the Status of Women

  • An internship with the Department will provide valuable government and policy experience, a chance to meet senior City officials, and the opportunity to network and make contacts for future jobs
  • Summer Internship

San Francisco International Airport 

  • Public Service Trainee and Management Intern Program
  • One-year internship, Full-Time, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
  • These positions may require occasional work during evenings and weekends
  • Essential duties require the following: physical skills and work environment, ability to work in a standard office environment which may involve prolonged sitting, bending and operation of typing, word processing and other office equipment

HACU National Internship Program

  • Internship placements in federal agencies or corporations during the summer and School Year for undergraduate and graduate students

San Mateo’s Regional Internship Program

Peninsula Works Internship Program

  • Internship provides a collaborative learning environment and holistic real-life career and personality development training
  • Summer Internship (June through August-approx. 10 weeks)

Congresswomen Jackie Speier's Internship Program

  • Interns will be exposed to and learn more about legislation and district issues
  • For students interest in government or politics

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)

  • Paid Pathways Intern program were intern will assist in economic and banking industry analysis with the Division of Insurance and Research (DIR)
  • 20 hours per week required
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50

USDA

  • U.S. Department of Agriculture offers different pathway opportunities for students and recent graduates to work in the agricultural, science, technology, math, environmental, management, business and many other fields

Office of the United States Trade Representative

  • Volunteers are able to work in Fall, Spring, and Summer
  • Assignments may include research, analysis, statistics, and coordination of briefing books, report preparation, meeting and conference planning, letter writing, and covering meetings, hearings, and/or legislative markup sessions
