BizCom Mission StatementBizCom is a student organized club that unifies business and communications students in the Notre Dame de Namur University community. BizCom facilitates self-development in its members by providing business related discussions as well as being a bridge to the local community through community outreach events. BizCom meetings are a place where students are exposed to the business world through guest speakers. At the meetings students are encouraged to explore new ideas and ask questions regarding their future careers. BizCom encourages its members to uphold the integrity that the School of Business and Management hopes to instill in its students. |

My goal in life is to take the advice from my parents, use my everyday experiences, and bridge my educational learning to produce a future that is not only filled with wealth, but inspiration. As president this year, I hope to bring in experienced people who can help business and communication students get a sense of the occupational world to help build them toward their goals. (Word of Advice - The world is forever changing, making the things that were once familiar unrecognizable. So evaluate the situation and adapt to it.) |

I want my future to consist of a job that I love with a life that is fulfilling and comfortable financially. I would potentially love to incorporate my passion to be creative with my background in advertising and marketing. This year I will be vice-president for BizCom and I am very excited to work with my fellow officers and get students interested in joining this club! My favorite things in the world include family and friends, nature, creativity, and frozen yogurt. :) My advice to fellow students is to not take life too seriously, do what you love and rid your life of things and people that drain your spirit and energy. |

My goal for the future is to work in a job and industry that I am passionate about centered on planning and environmental activities. I want to travel to an extent that there are no blank pages in my passport. I want to one day have my private pilot’s license. I have worked in the private industry of big business and have learned that I am not particularly interested in the classic Corporate America or being an entrepreneur but rather work within the governmental system that is already in place, tweaking and making minor adjustments to improve our society. |
