Fall Orientation Checklist
To better prepare you for the start of classes, we have developed this checklist for you as a guide to monitor your progress in becoming a NDNU student. It is essential that you complete the following steps before coming to campus on August 20th.
#1 Register for Orientation

Orientation sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Register early.
#2 Confirm Financial Aid (if applicable)
Contact: Student Financing

Contact the Student Financing Office if you are a student who applied for Financial Aid and have not received your award letter or if you have any questions.
#3 Apply for Housing

Make sure to complete and submit your housing application. Preferences are based on a first-come, first-served basis.
#4 Complete and Submit Health Insurance Form

You must complete and submit the Student Health Insurance form. The form provides for either enrollment in NDNUs group insurance plan or the waiver option indicated on the form.
#5 Complete the AlcoholEdu Course

Beginning in July, you may log on to www.alcoholedu.com to take AlcoholEdu for College, and objective online alcohol education program that is required for all new first-year undergraduates. Complete the required chapters by August 20, 2009. A login ID will be mailed to you in July.
#6 Check your NDNU Campus Portal (after your orientation session, beginning Aug. 12)
Contact the Business Office at 650-508-3565 for payment arrangements; Mary Oleksy for Campus Life holds at 650-508-3657; and Admissions for T-1/T-2 holds at 650-508-3600.
Use the login instructions that you received at your orientation session. You will need to check your email account first for further instructions, then Campus Portal.
