NDNU’s Online Orientation program has been specifically designed to acclimate new transfer*, evening, graduate and professional studies students. The online program:
- Provides an introduction to academic and personal resources,
- Encourages student involvement, and
- Encourages relationships with the campus community.
New students will have one semester to complete the online orientation. If the orientation is not completed by the end of the semester, a hold will be placed on their student account that will restrict them from registering for classes for the following semester. Once the student has completed the orientation, the hold will be removed.
Student Life and Leadership will monitor the student’s progress and send progress/completion reports to the student to remind them of their status to avoid any delays in registration.
*New transfer students have the option to complete the online orientation program or attend an orientation session over the summer or in January.
