Students—
Are you interested in being the Community Service Coordinator, the Spiritual and Social Justice Events Coordinator, or getting a Learn and Serve America grant to coordinate community service and community based learning?

The Community Service Coordinator works with several student leaders to construct and oversee well-intgrated, year-round community service opportunities. For the 06-07 academic year, the Community Service Coordinator is Elin Kjolseth (ekjolseth@student.ndnu.edu).

The Spiritual & Social Justice Events Coordinator designs and oversees events that help students tend to their spirituality as well learn more about issues of justice and equity. For the 06-07 academic year, the Spiritual & Social Justice Events Coordinator is Emmy Gandeza (mgandeza@student.ndnu.edu).

Depending on whether or not students stay in their position consecutive years, these positions may be open in the spring. Please inquire with Kathryn Racine-Jones in the spring for more information at kracinejones@ndnu.edu or (650)508-3761.

Additionally, a 300 hour Learn and Serve America grant will be available in the fall of 2006 to interested students. The student will help coordinate community service and community based learning while earning an educational award.
