NDNU Programming Board (NDNU PB)

The Notre Dame de Namur University Programming Board (NDNU PB) is the university's student-operated student activities organization. NDNU PB shall collaborate with students, faculty, staff and alumni in developing and implementing a broad range of cultural, social, and recreational programs that further promote school spirit and NDNU traditions.

The NDNU PB is a student team made of Special Events Coordinators (SEC's) and Diversity Education Coordinators (DEC's) who are especially interested in event planning, student engagement, diversity, and campus pride. These students work as a team led by the Programming Board chair (when applicable) as well as the Student Activities Coordinator and other appropriate staff to enrich the co-curricular aspects of the campus.

Programming Board Goals

• Develop and provide quality cultural, social, and recreational programs relevant to the needs of the NDNU community.
• Enhance NDNU school pride amongst students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
• Support clubs and organizations in programming initiatives through monthly meetings for Inner Club Council and Cultural Club Council.
• Increase attendance at events through effective collaborations, publicizing, and recruiting participants.

Upcoming Events

The Programming Board plans many unique activities on campus. Students who come to these events have a great time and enjoy the social atmosphere. Come out to our next event to join in on the fun. Programming Board positions are selected each year during the Spring Semester. Applications are available at the beginning of February and located in Student Life & Leadership Office (SLLO). Questions? Contact NDNU PB at pb@student.ndnu.edu

Who are we looking for to be on the board?

Students who are:

• Interested in planning and coordinating entertainment and cultural events
• Willing to learn new skills
• Able to work on a team

Join the NDNU PB Committee

In Fall 2011 NDNU PB will be introducing the Programming Board committee. Serving on a committee is a volunteer experience that allows students to gain a better understanding of the process of event planning, encourages personal growth and leadership development, and serves as a space for students to get connected with other students while celebrating and creating campus traditions.
