Pre-Health Association Of Non-Traditional Students

Our goal as a club is to provide academic, professional and emotional support to pre-health students by way of community service, activities, monthly meetings and leadership workshops. We will strive to maximize our educational experience at NDNU, play an active role in the school community, and provide additional resources to our members to achieve personal and professional goals. By primarily focusing on matriculation into Professional School, and by returning as Alumni mentors, we hope to contribute to the continued success of the Organization as well as its current members. Although we are Non-traditional Students, Membership is open to all. The structure of our club rests upon:

1. Academic Support: Organize advanced study sessions with NDNU faculty to prepare for admission tests into professional school. Create study groups dedicated to achieving high marks on exams, and clarifying a wide-array of academic material. Distribution of any type of literature regarding academics to members.
   

2. School and Community Involvement: Participate in 1 school event per semester (such as the Thanksgiving project for the homeless).
   

3. 

   Extracurricular/ Social Activities: Organize outings once a month to provide emotional support to members and enhance teamwork skills.
   

4. Fundraising: To participate in 1 annual community service project per year.
   

5. Professional Resources: Provide general information such as Research opportunities, volunteer opportunities, internships, professional contacts, pre-health forums, etc.
   

6. Meetings: Provide monthly meetings, health topics, and leadership workshops.
