Patti Andrews, History and Political Science: Using Province Center archives, other written sources, and oral histories of the Sisters, Andrews will write a college-level introduction to the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and mission-driven pedagogies promoting the values of social justice and global peace at Notre Dame de Namur learning communities.

James Fogal, School of Business and Management: Develop an online instructor academy (estimated duration, 4 weeks) for NDNU faculty to learn about best practices and assist with developing online instructional material, drawing on recent research in learning strategies and resources.

Betty Friedman, Art, and Jean Nyland, Psychology and Sociology: Using Jungian critical theory as a foundation, will research and write an article on the work of Chicano artist Roberto Chavez (Wiegand Gallery show, Spring 2013) by interviewing the artist and the exhibition's curators, discussing both the purposive symbolism of his artistic expression, his technique, and art background in Los Angeles.

Ali Kishani, Philosophy and Religious Studies: Research and write an article on “Media and Ethics: The Public Sphere, Truth-telling, and the Practice of Freedom,” examining a variety of media and conducting interviews with individuals who work in the media.
