Financial Aid Preparation for Next Academic Year Workshop

The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) will be hosting a workshop on February 27 and 28, 2013, 5 p.m. at SJ Lounge to provide information on the following and is encouraging everyone to attend.

• FAFSA and Cal Grant Application
• California Dream Act Application
• Scholarship Information
• SAP: Satisfactory Academic Progress

Federal and State aid application requires all sorts of information, and filling it out is a little daunting for some, if not for many and it is the hope of the OFA to provide the necessary information and assistance in completing these applications correctly. Additionally, the OFA understands that it is more important than ever that students fill out their FAFSA on time to qualify for as much federal, state and institutional aid to finance their education while attending NDNU.

Furthermore, as a federal regulation all aid recipients must adhere NDNU SAP Policy to continue receiving aid, so at this workshop SAP policy will be discussed and attendees will informed of how OFA evaluates students for SAP and the different types of communication that we sent out to students if they are not meeting the SAP requirements.
