Endowed Scholarships Available for Graduate and Credential Students
Most NDNU graduate students fund their studies through a combination of student loans, outside scholarship, employer reimbursement, or individual payment plans, however, there are limited Endowed and Restricted Scholarship Funds available.
Here are some examples of Scholarship Funds that have been established by alumni and friends of the University in support of NDNU students.
Arrington Graduate Art Therapy Endowed Scholarship – The Arrington Scholarship honors long-time art therapy faculty member Doris Arrington with funds to support students pursuing a graduate degree in art therapy.
Art Therapy Outreach Endowed Scholarship – The Art Therapy Scholarship supports undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students in art therapy who demonstrate an interest in using art therapy to build community and who have financial need.
Robert Batinovich MBA Scholarship – The Batinovich Scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in the MBA program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and who demonstrates financial need. The recipient will be selected jointly by the School of Business and Management and the Office of Financial Aid.
Mary Power Bosque ’53 Alumni Endowed Scholarship – The Bosque Scholarship supports children of NDNU alumni who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees at NDNU.
Elaine L. Cohen Graduate Scholarship – Named in honor of NDNU’s former Dean of Graduate Studies, the Cohen Graduate Scholarship recognizes NDNU graduate students who consistently demonstrate leadership potential and achievement. Financial need will also be considered.
Dr. Giselle Parry Farris and Ray K. Farris II Endowed Scholarship – The Parry Farris Scholarship supports NDNU students from all schools and departments who demonstrate financial need.
Foster/Immaculate Heart of Mary Endowed Scholarship – This scholarship fund supports undergraduate or graduate students who attended Belmont’s Immaculate Heart of Mary elementary school.
Gavin Endowed Scholarship – The Gavin Scholarship supports students enrolled in NDNU’s master’s degree in education program who demonstrate financial need.
Judith Maxwell Greig Endowed Scholarship – Named in honor of NDNU’s President, the Judith Maxwell Greig Scholarship honors Latina students enrolled in the multiple subject credential program who demonstrate financial need. Recipients are recommended by the department, and selected by the President.
Hannigan Family Endowed Scholarship – The Hannigan Family Scholarship will support NDNU undergraduate or graduate students who intend to teach or work in the non-profit sector.
Nancy Jefferson Scholarship – The Jefferson Scholarship supports students pursuing a master’s of business administration degree, with preference for female students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Loughlin Art Therapy Dinosaur Scholarship – The Loughlin Dinosaur Scholarship is awarded to a deserving student enrolled in NDNU’s Art Therapy programs, selected by the Chair of the Art Therapy Program and the Office of Financial Aid.
Louis J. & Natalia Jean Poletti Endowed Scholarship – The Poletti Scholarship supports NDNU undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate financial need.
Sponholz Endowed Scholarship – The Sponholz Scholarship supports deserving undergraduate and graduate students in the field of psychology who demonstrate financial need.
Bob and Carla Repetto Webster ’70 Endowed Scholarship – The Webster Scholarship supports undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Music and Vocal Arts Department who demonstrate financial need.
Charleen M. Zaro Endowed Scholarship Fund for Future Teachers – This scholarship fund supports students enrolled in NDNU’s Credential programs who demonstrate financial need.
