Notre Dame de Namur University observes the following paid holidays:
- New Year's Day

Part-time employees working at least 1,000 hours will be paid on a pro-rata basis for any holiday which falls on a regularly scheduled workday.
Holiday Schedule 2012 - 2013
The following paid holidays will be observed by full-time employees provided the employee worked the last regularly scheduled day prior to the holiday and works the first regularly scheduled day after the holiday or is on authorized leave. Part-time employees working over 1000 hours a year will receive pro-rata pay for any holiday falling on a regularly scheduled workday.

Vacation
Nonexempt Employees
Years one through three: fifteen (15) days accrued at the rate of:
8.75 hours/month for employees scheduled to work 35 hours/week. Maximum accrual is 210 hours.
10 hours/month for employees scheduled to work 40 hours/week. Maximum accrual is 240 hours.
Fourth year and thereafter: twenty (20) days accrued at the rate of:
11.66 hours/month for employees scheduled to work 35 hour/week. Maximum accrual is 210 hours.
13.34 hours/month for employees scheduled to work 40 hours/week. Maximum accrual is 240 hours.
Exempt Employees
Years one through three: Twenty (20) days accrued at the rate of 6.64 hours per month.
Maximum accrual is 240 hours.
Fourth year and thereafter: twenty-five (25) days accrued at the rate of 8.32 hours per month.
Maximum accrual is 240 hours.
Sick Leave
Nonexempt Employees
8 hours per month accrues to a maximum of 720 hours.
Exempt Employees
Full-time exempt employees earn sick leave at a rate of twelve (12) days per year up to a maximum of 720 hours. Part-time employees working at least 1,000 hours accrue sick time on a pro-rata basis.
