Lorry Lokey and William Spencer To Be Honored At Notre Dame de Namur University Gala

Belmont, Calif., March 26, 2014 — Two outstanding individuals who have demonstrated the service and commitment that characterizes the Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) community — Lorry Lokey and the late William Spencer — will be honored at the 2014 NDNU President's Gala. The Gala will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Burlingame.

Lorry Lokey, philanthropist and founder of Business Wire, will be honored with the Community Spirit Award for his distinguished and extraordinary history of philanthropy and community involvement. William Spencer, former NDNU trustee, will be honored posthumously with the second President's Legacy Award for his outstanding contributions to the NDNU community and his leadership, generosity, vision and commitment to the values of the Sisters of Notre Dame and the university.
