Evening Degree Completion Forum, August 15
Belmont, CA, August 7, 2007 — Notre Dame de Namur University will host an information forum for prospective students wanting to complete a bachelor’s degree in the evenings, Wednesday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Ralston Hall Mansion on the University’s campus in Belmont.
NDNU’s Evening Degree programs are designed for the working professional, who wants to return to college to advance or change careers, earn a promotion, or simply to achieve personal fulfillment. Classes are offered in both the traditional 15 week semester format or in an accelerated 7 week format that allows students to complete their work faster.
The University offers several programs in the evening and is currently expanding to offer classes on the weekend to allow adults to fit their education into their busy lives. Students can enter in either spring, summer or fall semesters and there are six starting dates throughout the year for the accelerated programs.
Students may transfer up to 78 lower division semester units and most upper division units regardless of how long it has been since attending college, as long as they were taken at an accredited institution with a passing grade.
Prospective students, who are unsure whether they meet NDNU’s entrance requirements or wish to speak with an admissions counselor, may schedule an appointment by calling (650) 508-3600. They will be provided with a preliminary transfer credit evaluation and assistance with their academic plan.
