NDNU Names New Director of Undergraduate Admissions

Belmont, CA, September 30, 2008 — Rejeetha M. Gort has joined Notre Dame de Namur University as Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the University announced today.

Gort comes to NDNU with a wide range of enrollment services, bringing a wealth of energy to her new position. Prior to NDNU, she was Assistant Director of Admissions at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI. She also held the following positions at Davenport University; Community College Recruiter, Admissions Representative, and Interim Director of Enrollment.

She holds a Master of Arts degree from Seton Hall University in Strategic Communication and Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University.Gort brings particular expertise and leadership in marketing analysis, international recruitment of students, and the financial aid process.

“The University can look forward to new ideas, energy, and growth with Rejeetha on board,” said Hernan Bucheli, NDNU’s Vice President for Enrollment Management.  “We are very fortunate to have her expertise in the area of admissions.”

Gort looks forward to supporting the University’s enrollment departments. “The University recently realized a dramatic increase in overall admissions and we intend to work diligently as a team to continue that upward trend,” she said.
