NDNU Appoints Interim CFO
Belmont, CA, January 8, 2009 — Notre Dame de Namur University today announced that Henry Roth has been appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer effective immediately. He replaces Pamela Kawaguchi, who resigned in December.
Roth is a former Dean of NDNU’s School of Business and Management, who also served as NDNU’s CFO from 2005 to 2006, when he returned to Visa USA as the Senior Vice President of Treasury. He resumed his career at NDNU in September 2008 as the Director of the Business Graduate Programs and as an Instructor.
He was formerly Vice President and Treasurer of eBay, helping to transform the start-up company into the leading-edge institution it is today. Roth also served as Senior Vice President at Visa International, and Vice President and Manager of Finance at Bank of America.
“We consider ourselves extraordinarily fortunate that Henry was available to step in as Pam’s replacement,” said NDNU Acting President Judith Greig. “He brings with him a wealth of institutional knowledge, gained as both an administrator and a teacher, which perfectly complements his exceptional professional background. We know he will make a major contribution to the success of our university and its students.”
