Notre Dame de Namur University to Accommodate International Students
Through the TALK School of Languages

Belmont, CA, March 22, 2011—Notre Dame de Namur University today announced an agreement with TALK International that will bring up to 120 international students to the NDNU campus beginning in summer 2011 for an intensive program to help teach them English.

Under the agreement, TALK International will be the exclusive operator of ESOL programs at NDNU.  TALK students will live on campus with the NDNU students.  TALK will also help international students seeking a college degree transition smoothly into U.S. schools.

“We are looking forward to having TALK International come to NDNU,” said Hernan Bucheli, Vice President of Enrollment at NDNU.  “Embracing diversity is a major part of NDNU’s mission and attracting international students to campus is one of the best ways to meet that goal.  This is a great way to share our facilities with students who need them, and in return, increase NDNU’s international profile.”

TALK was established in 1996 and is the largest independent language school in Florida with established university campus programs at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Regis College in Boston, Mass. Its programs include an International English Department, Corporate and Adult Training, and Student Services.
