NDNU Appoints New Vice President for Finance and Administration
Belmont, CA, July 14, 2010 — Notre Dame de Namur University today announced that Henry Roth has been appointed vice president for finance and administration, effective immediately. He succeeds Alex Kramer, who served in the position since August 2009.
Roth is a former Dean of NDNU’s School of Business and Management, who also served as NDNU’s CFO from 2005 to 2006 and interim CFO for part of 2009. He worked with Visa USA as the Senior Vice President of Treasury from 2006 until he resumed his career at NDNU in September 2008 as the director of Graduate Business Studies and as an instructor.
He was formerly vice president and treasurer of eBay, helping to transform the start-up company into the leading-edge institution it is today. Roth also served as senior vice president at Visa International, vice president and manager of finance at Bank of America and a foreign exchange trader at Citibank.
“We are overjoyed that Henry accepted this position,” said NDNU President Judith Maxwell Greig. “His exceptional professional background in administration and teaching has greatly impacted NDNU in the many years he has served NDNU, and will continue to do so in the years to come. We know he will continue to contribute to the success of our university.”
